Turkic states to unveil first joint regional map, Kyrgyz official says Photo
A general map of the Turkic states has been completed and will be formally presented on December 3, Deputy Director of the State Cartographic and Geodetic Service of Kyrgyzstan Narynbek Isabekov said.
He made the announcement at the Second Meeting of the Heads of Mapping Institutions of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which is taking place in the Azerbaijani capital, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The meeting brought together senior Azerbaijani officials and OTS representatives, including First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Rashad Ismayilov, OTS Deputy Secretary General Merey Mukazhan, Murad Najafbayli of the State Commission for the Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Lieutenant General Azer Aliyev of the Ministry of Defence, and Gulshan Rzayeva, Deputy Chief of Staff of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture and Deputy National Coordinator of WUF13.
The event will conclude with the adoption of a declaration.
