Turkish Air Force to be reinforced with ERALP early warning system PHOTO

The first domestic ERALP early warning radar system will soon enter the arsenal of the Turkish Armed Forces.

ERALP will be Türkiye's first domestic long-range early warning radar system. It has been developed by ASELSAN in cooperation with the Defence Industry Directorate under the Turkish Presidential Administration, Caliber.Az reports, citing SavunmaSanayiST.com on Twitter.

Various tests have been conducted on the ERALP portable early warning radar system. The radar is superior to its counterparts due to its own-stranger recognition subsystem.

During these tests, target detection was conducted with ERALP far beyond the range observed by Türkiye's existing early warning radars.

The ERALP radar system was developed to meet the needs of the Turkish Air Force. With ERALP, the awareness of the Turkish Air Force will be raised to a much higher level.
