Turkish authorities crush two crime syndicates in nationwide operation VIDEO
In a crackdown on organized crime, Turkish authorities have dismantled two major criminal organizations across five provinces, with Adana serving as the operation's central hub.
The operation, announced by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya via a post on social media platform X, resulted in the detention of 80 suspects, including the leaders of the two groups, Caliber.Az reports.

The targeted operations were aimed at two separate organized crime groups, identified by their leaders CT and HT, operating primarily in Adana. The coordinated raids led to the seizure of unregistered firearms and substantial quantities of illicit drugs, further underscoring the scale of the criminal activities these groups were involved in.
Following a series of searches across multiple locations, Turkish authorities succeeded in neutralizing the criminal organizations' operations, preventing further illegal activity and ensuring the detention of key figures within the groups. The operation is hailed as a major success in Türkiye’s ongoing efforts to combat organized crime and maintain public safety.
Earlier, on March 17, in a law enforcement operation across Türkiye, authorities dismantled four major organized crime groups, leading to the detention of 79 individuals. The operation targeted criminal networks operating in Istanbul, Ankara, Adana, and Van.
The coordinated raids, conducted across multiple provinces, resulted in the seizure of unregistered firearms and substantial quantities of illicit drugs. Authorities have confirmed that these operations were the culmination of extensive intelligence gathering and operational measures aimed at neutralizing the criminal networks.
