Turkish C-130 crash in Georgia: two more wreckage pieces recovered PHOTO
Two additional pieces of wreckage from a Turkish military transport aircraft, a C-130, have been recovered in Georgia following yesterday’s crash, authorities reported. The incident occurred while the plane was en route from Azerbaijan to Türkiye, carrying military personnel, APA reports.
On November 11, 2025, a Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft crashed in Georgia while flying from Azerbaijan to Türkiye. The plane was carrying 20 members of the Turkish Armed Forces, including technical service personnel. All on board were killed in the crash.
Prior to departure, the aircraft had spent approximately two hours at Ganja airport in Azerbaijan, with no recorded technical issues. Following the crash, search and recovery teams from both Türkiye and Georgia have been working at the site, recovering wreckage and investigating the incident.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, with investigators examining possible technical faults, weather conditions, or other contributing factors.
