A landslide occurred in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul, Türkiye, following heavy rains, causing soil from a garden to slide down approximately 20 metres and hit nearby homes, CNN Turk reports.
Authorities evacuated six buildings due to safety concerns.

The incident took place around 19:00 in the Ayazağa neighbourhood on 108th Street. Police, AFAD rescue teams, and municipal services arrived at the scene. After inspection, experts deemed six houses unsafe and ordered their evacuation.
Residents of the affected homes expressed frustration, noting that they had previously contacted the municipality about the risk, but no solutions were provided, leaving them without a place to go.
