Iran’s president pushes faster reconstruction in war-hit provinces
On April 30, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian urged officials to accelerate reconstruction efforts in areas affected by recent conflict, state media reported, as authorities seek to restore infrastructure and support displaced residents.
Pezeshkian held separate calls with the governors of Hormozgan, Bushehr, Isfahan and Qom provinces to review recovery operations and assess the pace of rebuilding, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
During the discussions, the president instructed provincial authorities to use powers delegated to them by the central government to speed up reconstruction work and cut through administrative delays.
He also called for the mobilisation of government resources and the implementation of targeted support packages for residents affected by the damage.
