Turkish defence minister explores innovations at ADEX-2024 in Baku
Türkiye's Minister of National Defence, Yaşar Güler, attended the ADEX-2024 exhibition in Baku to explore cutting-edge developments in the defence sector.
The event, which runs from September 24 to 26 at the Baku Expo Centre, marks the fifth anniversary of the Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX) and stands as the largest defence industry gathering in the region, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.
Among the notable exhibits is LENTATEK's KARGI anti-radiation UAV, which has been developed entirely using domestic resources. The KARGI is engineered to engage and neutralize radar and surface-to-air missile systems as part of a comprehensive air defence strategy. It is specifically designed for Suppression of Enemy Air Defences (SEAD) and Destruction of Enemy Air Defences (DEAD) missions, as well as targeting other strategically significant objectives.
In conjunction with ADEX-2024, the 14th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment, Securex Caspian, is being held simultaneously, further enriching the array of technologies and solutions presented at the event.
