Turkish defence minister inspects border areas in southeast PHOTOS
The National Defence Minister of Türkiye, Hulusi Akar, is inspecting the border areas in the Hakkari province, the southeast of the country.
As Caliber.Az reports, this was published on the Ministry’s Twitter account, sharing that the minister is being accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces Yashar Güller, Commander of the Ground Troops Musa Avsever, Naval Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlioglu and Commander of the Air Force Atilla Gülan.
Akar and the commanders of the Armed Forces met the executives of the border patrol areas, after which they traveled to the border areas by helicopter.
The inspection of the border areas is still ongoing.
