Turkish defence minister Yaşar Güler receives Azerbaijani delegation
Turkish Defence Minister Yaşar Güler met with Azerbaijani Deputy Defence Minister Agil Gurbanov and his accompanying delegation, according to a statement from the Turkish Ministry of Defence on X.
Türkiye's Deputy Chief of General Staff, Kemal Yeni also attended the meeting, Caliber.Az reports.

In a recent parliamentary address, Yaşar Güler stated that Türkiye is committed to facilitating a swift peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia to foster lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
Highlighting Türkiye's unwavering support for Azerbaijan under the "one nation, two states" principle, Güler underscored the deep ties between the two countries' security and stability. He reassured that this stance would remain unchanged.
The minister also praised the Turkish military as a trusted pillar of strength for allied nations. Regarding Syria, Güler emphasized Türkiye’s determination to prevent terrorists from exploiting the country’s instability.
