Turkish Defence Ministry releases footage of Winter Exercise-2025 with Azerbaijani involvement PHOTO
The Turkish Ministry of National Defence has unveiled new footage from the ongoing Winter Exercise-2025, which features significant participation from Azerbaijani military forces.
The exercise, currently underway in Kars, Türkiye, was launched on January 20 and is set to enhance the cooperation between Türkiye and its allied nations, including Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.
The Ministry highlighted the resilience of the participating troops despite challenging weather conditions, emphasizing that “neither snow, nor frost, nor difficult terrain will be an obstacle.” The statement further affirmed that the exercises are proceeding successfully with forces from friendly and allied countries jointly engaging in target-hitting drills.
During the exercises, Azerbaijani military personnel successfully completed several new tasks.
The Winter Exercise-2025 is a large-scale military operation, involving over 12,000 servicemen from various countries, aimed at strengthening tactical coordination and operational readiness in harsh winter conditions. The exercise serves to bolster the defence ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, reflecting strategic partnership in regional security matters.
