Turkish delegation praises Azerbaijan’s wartime resilience in Baku visit
A delegation from the Azerbaijan–Türkiye–Northern Cyprus interparliamentary friendship group has visited the Victory Park in Baku, a Turkish lawmaker said.
Shamil Ayrim, head of the Turkish parliamentary delegation, wrote on social media platform X that the park commemorates Azerbaijan’s victory and those killed in the Patriotic War, describing it as a symbol of the country’s resilience, Caliber.Az reports.

“This monument symbolises the great victory achieved in Karabakh, the self-sacrifice of the martyrs and the unbreakable will of the Azerbaijani people. We remember our martyrs with gratitude and once again respectfully salute the just struggle of the brotherly Azerbaijani people,” Ayrim said.
The delegation also visited the Alley of Honour, where they paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s national leader.
