Turkish envoy pays homage to Baku memorial for fallen Turkish soldiers PHOTO
Today Azerbaijan is marking the 105th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from Armenian gangs and Bolshevik formations by the Caucasus Islamic Army.
According to Anadolu, on the occasion of the significant date, a ceremony was held at the Monument to Turkish Soldiers on the Alley of Martyrs in Baku.
Turkish ambassador to Baku Cahit Bagci, the military attaché of Türkiye in Azerbaijan, Soner Orucoglu, the head of the representative office of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in Azerbaijan, Ufuk Turganer, embassy advisers, representatives of Turkish institutions and organizations operating in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani veterans and privates citizens attended the event.
Ambassador Cahit Bagci left an entry in the Memorial Book of the complex.
The head of the diplomatic mission and those accompanying him also paid tribute to the victims of the January 20 tragedy.
