Turkish foreign minister slated to visit Azerbaijan to attend NAM meeting

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will visit Azerbaijan.

Hakan Fidan will be visiting Azerbaijan at the invitation of his Azerbaijani opposite number Jeyhun Bayramov to take part in a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member countries, scheduled in Baku on July 5-6, Report says citing Turkish Foreign Ministry.

Türkiye closely follows the developments within the Non-Aligned Movement and participates in the high-level meetings of the Movement as a guest country since 2006.

Azerbaijan will hold a meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on July 5-6. The foreign ministers of Iran, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Iraq, Malaysia, and several other countries are expected to attend the event.
