Turkish Foreign Ministry thanks Azerbaijan for help in extinguishing wildfires
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for assistance in extinguishing forest fires.
“We thank Azerbaijan for its valuable support in extinguishing forest fires in our country,” Caliber.Az quotes the ministry as saying on his X page.

On August 17, in line with the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the amphibious aircraft of “BE-200ChS” type of aviation detachment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were sent to Türkiye to help the brotherly country in fighting severe forest fires.
Dozens of forest fires have been recorded in the territory of Türkiye in recent days. A large number of equipment, dozens of helicopters and airplanes were involved in the firefighting operations.
