17 July 2024 15:57

The book titled "Secrets of Azerbaijan", published by the Turkish Presidency's Directorate of Communications, has been presented to Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev.

During a meeting, Press Counsellor of Türkiye's embassy in Baku Cihangir Isbilir and Anadolu Agency's Asia-Caucasus Regional Head Tolga Ozgenc met with Hajiyev, Caliber.Az reports citing the Turkish media.

The discussion focused on media relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.

During the visit, Isbilir presented the book “Secrets of Azerbaijan,” signed by the Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun, to Hajiyev. After reviewing the book, Hajiyev expressed his gratitude to Altun and Isbilir. The book explores the brotherhood between Türkiye and Azerbaijan and highlights Azerbaijani culture.

Azerbaijan and Türkiye share a close and robust relationship characterised by deep historical, cultural, and linguistic ties. Often described as "one nation, two states," this unique bond is rooted in shared heritage and mutual interests.

Economic cooperation is a cornerstone of Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations. The two countries have engaged in several significant energy projects, such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline and the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP). These projects not only bolster their economies but also enhance regional energy security. Trade between the two countries has flourished, with mutual investments in infrastructure, agriculture, and technology sectors.
