Turkish police seize over 800kg of meth in major Istanbul drug bust
Turkish authorities have seized more than 800 kilogrammes of methamphetamine in a large-scale anti-narcotics operation in Istanbul, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on X.
Yerlikaya stated that the operation took place in the Arnavutköy district of Istanbul, Caliber.Az reports.

Officers reportedly confiscated 773 kilogrammes of liquid methamphetamine, stored in 29 separate packages, along with an additional 28.5 kilogrammes of the drug in crystalline form. Two suspects have been detained in connection with the bust.
The operation is part of Türkiye’s ongoing efforts to clamp down on the illegal drug trade. Video footage released by the authorities showed law enforcement agents entering a property believed to be used for the storage and processing of the narcotics.
Further investigations into the suspects and potential wider networks are underway.
