Turkish president hosts Azerbaijani delegation
A high-level Azerbaijani delegation was welcomed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara during the opening ceremony of the new judicial year for 2024–2025.
The delegation, led by Deputy Prosecutor General Heydar Mammadov and Deputy Head of the General Prosecutor's Office Anar Nasibov, attended the event alongside Turkish Supreme Court Chief Justice Omer Kerkez and Prosecutor General Muhsin Şentürk, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
As part of the visit, Heydar Mammadov and Deputy Chair of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Chingiz Asgarov, had an official audience with President Erdogan.
The discussions with Turkish counterparts focused on enhancing legal cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and they also covered upcoming significant events, including the 29th Annual Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors and the COP29 Climate Summit, both scheduled to be held in Baku.
