Turkish president leaves for Azerbaijan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has left on a visit to Azerbaijan.
The plane with the Turkish president onboard took off from the Ankara Esenboga Airport on October 20, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.
Together with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Erdogan will take part in the inauguration of the Zangilan International Airport and the Dostlug (Friendship) Agricultural Park, built with the participation of Turkish companies in the liberated territory of Azerbaijan.
The Turkish leader will also take part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Gumlag railway station in Jabrayil District, the Azerbaijan- Turkish International Forestry Training Centre, Smart Nursery and Friendship Forest.
During the bilateral meetings to be held during the visit, it is expected that relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan will be considered in all their aspects and steps that can be taken to further develop cooperation will be discussed.
