Turkish Roketsan unveils laser-guided artillery shell A breakthrough in precision munitions

Turkish defence company Roketsan has announced the development of the LG-155 laser-guided artillery shell, marking a significant advancement in precision munitions.

The company shared updates via its social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.

"The first firing tests of the LG-155 ammunition are currently underway. Our 155mm artillery systems, particularly the Firtina self-propelled howitzer, will gain enhanced precision strike capabilities," Roketsan CEO Murat İkinci said.

The LG-155 features a range of up to 25 kilometers and is equipped with a 22-kilogram warhead, promising to improve targeting accuracy and effectiveness on the battlefield.
