Turkish ruling party official to visit Nakhchivan
Deputy Chairman of Türkiye’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Kurshad Zorlu, is set to visit Nakhchivan on September 12 as part of his trip along the newly established Nakhchivan–Igdir line.
In a post on X, Zorlu described Nakhchivan as a strategic hub for the Turkic world and referred to it as the “Turkish Gate,” announcing his visit, Caliber.Az reports.

He said the development of the route would help foster a climate of peace and prosperity in the region, strengthened by the close ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
Zorlu is scheduled to arrive in Nakhchivan at 15:40 local time, where he will hold several meetings. He is expected to continue his visit the following day in the Turkish border province of Igdir.
