Türkiye explores enhanced cooperation with Azerbaijan, Central Asia on Middle Corridor PHOTO
Türkiye has established bilateral mechanisms to explore further opportunities for cooperation with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, aiming to fully leverage the potential of the Middle Corridor.
Turhan Dilmaç, head of the department at Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Centre for Strategic Studies, made the remarks during a session titled “Strengthening Eurasian Connectivity” at the 13th meeting of the Forum of Think Tanks of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Caliber.Az reports via local media.
He added that within the framework of the Organisation of Turkic States, Türkiye maintains close collaboration with Azerbaijan and Central Asian partners on the Middle Corridor.
According to Dilmaç, the corridor offers Central Asian countries the opportunity to expand trade routes, deepen economic integration, and promote sustainable development.
