Turkiye, Kazakhstan, China, and Armenia to benefit from introduction of parallel import in Russia
The introduction of parallel import in Russia will bring the greatest benefit to Turkiye, Kazakhstan, China, and Armenia.
“The import growth will contribute to the growth of trade turnover with the countries through which parallel import will be implemented. Turkiye, Kazakhstan, China, and Armenia can become beneficiary countries of such import,” RIA Novosti reports referring to Head of the Sovereign and Regional Ratings Group at ACRA Rating Agency Elena Anisimova.
Moreover, Anisimova believes that an increase in procurement abroad will help reduce the price growth and limit the strengthening of the Russian ruble rate.
A list of goods for parallel import was published on the official website of legal information of the Russian Federation in the first half of May 2022. There are 96 items on the list. The list was prepared by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
