Türkiye launches nationwide operation against smuggling, counterfeit alcohol VIDEO
Turkish authorities have conducted a large-scale operation targeting the smuggling and production of counterfeit alcoholic beverages across all 81 provinces of the country.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the operation on his social media account on X, Caliber.Az reports.

During the raids, officials seized 119,564 bottles and 2,792 liters of smuggled or counterfeit alcohol, along with 48,425 liters of ethyl alcohol and 874 alcohol flavorings.
Yerlikaya added that the authorities uncovered 12 illegal production facilities and took legal action against 169 suspects involved in the illicit activities.
