Türkiye “neutralizes” 3 PKK/YPG terrorists in northern Iraq VIDEO
Turkish security forces “neutralized” three PKK/YPG terrorists in northern Iraq, the National Defense Ministry said on May 13.
The terrorists were targeted in the Qandil region, the ministry said in a statement, Anadolu Agency reports.

Turkish authorities use the term “neutralize” to imply the terrorists in question surrendered or were killed or captured.
"Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces continue to fight with uninterrupted operations to eradicate terrorism at its source," the statement said, adding: "We will continue to destroy terrorist lairs with determination."
In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US, and the EU – has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants. The YPG is the PKK’s Syrian offshoot.
Meanwhile, the Turkish Armed Forces seized a cache of weapons belonging to PKK terrorists during search and verification measures in the Operation Claw-Lock area in northern Iraq.

The weapons and ammunition seized include one 12.7mm large caliber machine gun, a spare barrel and 125 armor-piercing rounds of ammunition for it, a Zagros sniper rifle, Dragunov sniper rifle and 255 rounds of ammunition, three M-16 infantry rifles, 9 loaded magazines and 4,575 rounds of ammunition,
two PKMS 7.62mm machine guns, 2 spare barrels and 1,152 rounds of ammunition, 4 AK-47 assault rifles and 19 magazines, 2 AK-74 assault rifles and 10 magazines, 2 AT-4 anti-tank grenade launchers,
a RPO "Shmel" flamethrower, RPG-7 grenade launcher, one anti-personnel and four anti-tank rounds,
a 6-round grenade launcher and 183 rounds of ammunition, a 60-mm mortar, 4 defensive hand grenades, 4 offensive hand grenades, 16 smoke grenades and 53 hand grenade fuses, 4 thermal imaging cameras, 4 sniper scopes and binoculars, two Yaesu car radios and five Yaesu handheld radios, 10 thermozones and many miscellaneous items.
