Türkiye pledges stronger unity against threats to bilateral relations with Azerbaijan

The Embassy of Türkiye in Azerbaijan has expressed its position regarding the “fake news” about Azerbaijan that has recently been circulating in Turkish media.

According to local media, Alptekin Cihangir İşbilir, press attaché of the Turkish Embassy, stated at a meeting held at the Youth Assistance Fund that they are working on developing a Turkish-Azerbaijani media platform and ensuring its more active participation in relevant processes.

"We will fight against internal and external forces attempting to undermine Turkish-Azerbaijani relations. It is necessary to conduct mutual consultations and confront these forces. We must hold on to each other more firmly, leaving no gaps so that no one can come between us. There are also those who fall prey to the games of internal and external forces seeking to damage relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. But against this, we must unite even more closely," he said.
