Türkiye receives 7 red notice fugitives in international extradition operation VIDEO
Seven individuals wanted under Interpol Red Notices have been brought to Türkiye, the country’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has announced.
In a statement posted on his X page, Yerlikaya said a total of nine suspects had been transferred to Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports.
Seven were the subject of Red Notice alerts, while two others were wanted on national warrants.
The individuals were apprehended and extradited from Germany (three), the United States, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iran and Greece.

Yerlikaya previously stated that hundreds of internationally wanted suspects have been returned to Türkiye during the current government’s term. In one recent case, five Red Notice fugitives were detained in Georgia and extradited to Türkiye. Another high-profile return involved Erkan Yılmaz, a crime-group leader arrested in Armenia who was wanted on 43 national and international warrants.
These operations are typically coordinated between the Interior Ministry, the Ministry of Justice and Interpol’s National Central Bureau in Ankara. Turkish officials emphasise that the increased pace of extraditions reflects the country’s determination to confront transnational organised crime and ensure that suspects wanted for serious offences face justice in Türkiye.
