Türkiye’s high advisory board meets to address regional conflicts
Türkiye’s Presidential High Advisory Board convened under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex, bringing together senior political figures and top officials to discuss regional and domestic developments.
Among those attending were board members, including Binali Yıldırım and Mustafa Şentop, alongside other senior officials from the presidency, Caliber.Az reports via the country's Communications Directorate.
The meeting focused on regional conflicts, recent global developments, and Türkiye’s ongoing “Terror-Free Türkiye” initiative. Participants emphasised the importance of securing and maintaining a ceasefire in a conflict described as having begun with unlawful attacks on Iran, noting that diplomatic engagement with all parties is continuing to preserve stability and extend the truce.
Officials also reviewed efforts to strengthen Türkiye’s development across key sectors, including the defense industry, communications and information technologies, transportation, energy, urban planning, and tourism, despite ongoing regional challenges.
Discussions highlighted the need to reinforce national unity and resilience in the face of potential threats. Participants stressed that strengthening solidarity—particularly through initiatives like the “Terror-Free Türkiye” process—remains essential to safeguarding the country’s stability.
The board also examined a range of judicial, administrative, social, and cultural measures aimed at addressing violence, with particular attention given to recent school shootings.
