Türkiye’s NATO representative pays tribute to Azerbaijani national leader

Türkiye’s Permanent Representative to NATO, Basat Öztürk, visited Azerbaijan’s mission to the alliance, honoring the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev on the Day of Remembrance. 

The Azerbaijani mission shared details of the visit on social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.

During the meeting with Azerbaijan’s NATO mission head, Jafar Huseynzada, discussions centered on advancing the Azerbaijan-NATO partnership under the Partnership for Peace program, as well as enhancing bilateral cooperation within NATO and addressing other areas of mutual interest.

Paying tribute to the memory of Azerbaijan’s national leader, Heydar Aliyev, on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance, Ozturk emphasized the enduring significance of Aliyev’s legacy.
