Members of the Turkish government and representatives of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) have extended congratulations on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces Day, celebrated on June 26, saying they honour the memory of fallen Azerbaijani soldiers.
Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu wished Azerbaijani servicemen continued success in fulfilling their duties and expressed confidence in the enduring brotherhood and solidarity between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
AK Party Deputy Chairman for Relations with the Turkic World, Prof. Kürşad Zorlu, described the Azerbaijani Armed Forces as “one of the most important guarantors of the country's independence and national unity.”
“Today, we respectfully and gratefully honour the memory of the Azerbaijani servicemen who heroically gave their lives, and extend our warmest wishes to the friendly and brotherly people of Azerbaijan. May our brotherhood, founded on the principle of ‘One Nation, Two States,’ endure forever,” Zorlu said.
Leading Turkish defence companies also congratulated Azerbaijan on the 108th anniversary of the establishment of its Armed Forces, including FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş.
