Türkiye to test AKYA heavyweight torpedo
Türkiye's Project 209/1400 S353 Preveze submarine will launch a 533-mm AKYA heavy torpedo in the Mediterranean Sea on December 26 against a previously decommissioned ship.
Developed by the Roketsan defence company, the AKYA torpedo has a range of more than 50 kilometres, SavunmaSanayiST.com reported on its page in social network X, according to Caliber.Az.
