Türkiye, US stress importance of Baku-Yerevan peace deal
The Chief Foreign Policy and Security Advisor to the Turkish President, Akif Çagatay Kılıç, and the US Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, Jake Sullivan, highlighted the significance of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia during a phone call.
According to a White House press release reported by Caliber.Az, both parties also welcomed the improved relations between Türkiye and Greece.
According to Anadolu Agency, during the conversation, Kılıç and Sullivan discussed Turkish-American relations, Israel's ongoing attacks in the Gaza Strip, the situation in Ukraine, and other regional issues.
The agency further noted that Kılıç and Sullivan exchanged views on cooperation in combating terrorism, particularly focusing on the PKK, ISIS, and FETO groups.
