Türkiye vows further retaliation to provocative actions of Greece PHOTO/VIDEO
Türkiye has responded and will continue to respond immediately to the aggressive and provocative actions of Greece, which ignores any norms of law.
Turkish National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar made the remarks speaking at the 1st air base of the Turkish Air Force in Eskisehir province, Caliber.

Along with the defence minister, the opening ceremony of the "Year of Turkish Air Force Flights" was attended by Chief of the General Staff Yashar Guler and the commanders of the branches of the Turkish Armed Forces.
According to him, Türkiye is closely monitoring every step of the Greek side in the region.
"Starting from July 2, we informed our NATO partners and allies about the planned NATO mission with the participation of Turkish Air Force aircraft. All the countries of the military-political bloc were aware of the Alliance's program. Despite this, the Greek military committed a provocation against the Turkish F-16. The claims that the Greeks did not know that these were Turkish planes are a lie," Akar said.
He recalled that on August 23, the S-300 air defence systems stationed in Rhodes, Greece, took aim at Turkish military aircraft, which created a threat to them.
The minister called the actions of Athens "hostile and erroneous".
The minister stressed that the army will continue to defend the interests and rights of Türkiye, as well as provide support to friendly fraternal countries, including the TRNC, Azerbaijan and Libya.
"This also concerns the situation in the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas, as well as in Cyprus, where Turkish troops will not allow infringement of the country's rights," he said.
Akar further drew attention to the efforts to modernise the Turkish Air Force fleet, including negotiations with the United States on the supply of new and modernisation of existing F-16 aircraft.
"We are closely monitoring the process and striving for positive results," he said.
