UK ambassador: Landmines pose persistent threat to human lives

The UK ambassador to Azerbaijan, Fergus Auld, has expressed concern over the continued threat of landmines to the lives of men, women, and children, Caliber.Az reports.

In a social media post, he stated that the UK is committed to providing support to ensure that people can return to their homes and villages, and live on safe land that will allow communities to rebuild.

The ambassador emphasized that the main goal is to protect the people by removing the landmines and making the land safe again.
