UK envoy: Azerbaijan's role in Europe's energy supply great after Ukraine war

UK ambassador Fergus Auld has said that Azerbaijan plays an important role in Europe's energy security.

The diplomat made the remarks on his Twitter page, Caliber.Az reports.

"Great Britain has been one of the main partners of Azerbaijan in the energy sector for many years. The role of Azerbaijan and the Southern Gas Corridor in providing Europe with energy resources is especially great after Russia's attack on Ukraine," Auld tweeted.
