Ukraine appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed an Order appointing Yuriy Veniaminovich Gusev as new Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Earlier Gusev worked as governor of Kherson region, and in 2020 he was appointed as Director General of the State Concern Ukroboronprom, Caliber.Az reports.

In 2023, President Zelensky dismissed Gusev from this position.
