Ukraine eyes to receive Western analogues of Kalibr, Kh-101 cruise missiles
Ukraine is using cruise missiles to strike Russian positions.
However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also need additional Western analogues of the Russian Kalibr and Kh-101 cruise missiles, The Economist reports.
“Ukraine also has new missiles, namely, Storm Shadow/Scalp cruise missiles from the UK and France, as well as new surface-to-surface Neptune,” the message says.
A source in the Ukrainian General Staff said that the big change is that the Ukrainian Armed Forces received new missiles and intelligence data.
“Once we have a goal and we can achieve it, that’s what we do. Other cruise missiles are being developed,” the Ukrainian General Staff spokesman added.
The spokesman said that Ukraine needs analogues of the Russian Kalibr, Kh-101 cruise missiles.
It is difficult to intercept this type of weapon due to its speed, maneuverability.
