Another shipment of energy equipment provided by Azerbaijan as part of its humanitarian assistance to Ukraine has been delivered to the city of Kyiv.

The handover ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleksandr Mishchenko, and other officials, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The total value of the delivered equipment amounts to $1 million. The shipment includes 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, five transformers, and approximately 27,000 meters of cables and wiring.

Ukraine’s Deputy Energy Minister Mykola Kolesnyk stated that the international community continues to assist in restoring the country’s energy infrastructure.“

The Azerbaijani state also systematically supports Ukraine. The delivered energy equipment will be used to restore energy and critical infrastructure to ensure power supply to healthcare facilities and other socially important institutions,” he said.

The total volume of humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine for recovery and reconstruction efforts has exceeded $45 million.
