Ukrainian commander meets with troops on Kursk front, highlights Russian losses
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) General Oleksandr Syrskyi recently visited Ukrainian military personnel stationed on the Kursk front.
The meeting, which was shared via Syrskyi’s official Telegram channel, highlighted the ongoing efforts of the UAF in their battle against Russian forces in this strategic region, Caliber.Az reports.
During his visit, General Syrskyi took the opportunity to personally award Ukrainian soldiers for their bravery. He noted that the heroic actions of these troops had forced the Russian military to keep a substantial force in the Kursk area, while also redirecting reserves from other fronts to bolster their position.
The UAF commander also provided a stark assessment of Russian casualties, claiming that losses on the Russian side in terms of personnel exceeded 38,000, with more than a thousand pieces of military equipment destroyed or incapacitated.
"We will continue to eliminate the occupiers, no matter what passports they hold—whether Russian or North Korean," Syrskyi stated, reiterating Ukraine’s resolve to fight back against the invasion.
