Ukrainian MPs visit Azerbaijani parliament PHOTO

Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada delegation composed of members of the inter-parliamentary friendship group with Azerbaijan visited national leader Heydar Aliyev's grave and paid tribute to his memory.

According to Report, the delegation then visited the Alley of Martyrs, and then held meetings at the Azerbaijani Parliamnet (Milli Majlis).

At a meeting with Parliament's Vice Speaker Fazail Ibrahimli, which was also attended by MPs Rufat Guliyev, Tahir Mirkishili, Javanshir Feyziev, Javid Osmanov and Nagif Hamzayev, the sides discussed further steps to strengthen interparliamentary relations, the situation in Ukraine, etc.

The parties thanked each other's leadership for supporting the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the international arena.

Then the Ukrainian delegation consisting of co-chairman of the inter-parliamentary friendship group Volodymyr Kreydenko, MPs Mykola Galushko and Anton Shvachko and chairman of the United Diaspora of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine Hikmat Javadov met with Azerbaijani MPs, members of the inter-parliamentary friendship group.
