UN conference to discuss Azerbaijan's water sector development

An event featuring innovations used by Azerbaijan in the water sector for speeding up the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be held at the UN Water Conference in New York on March 24.

The attendees will discuss reforms in Azerbaijan’s water sector, innovations applied, interaction with stakeholders to accelerate the SDGs achievement through the ongoing reforms, Report informs, citing the conference programme.

High-level officials from Azerbaijan's ecology and natural resources, economy and agriculture ministries, the Azersu water proving company and the Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management company, as well as international institutions, are expected to participate in the event.
