UN-Habitat rep discusses COP29 with Azerbaijani ambassador to Kenya

A good partnership has been established between the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and Azerbaijan.

UN Assistant Secretary-General and Acting Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Michal Mlynar made the remarks on social network X, Caliber.Az reports.

He noted that he discussed the implementation of the urbanisation agenda during COP29 in Baku with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Kenya Sultan Hajiyev.

"We look forward to seeing the Azerbaijani delegation at the Twelfth World Urban Forum (WUF12) in Cairo!" the publication reads.

The Twelfth World Urban Forum (WUF12), organised by the UN Human Settlements Programme UN-Habitat, will be held in Egypt in 2024 and will focus on sustainability in urban development.
