22 October 2024 20:06

Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UN Geneva), Tatiana Valovaya, expressed hope that a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be signed in the near future.

Valovaya made this statement during a meeting with Bahar Muradova, Chairwoman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

She hailed the fact that over 80 per cent of the issues have been agreed upon during the talks.

Valovaya emphasized that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN Geneva spans a wide range of areas.

She also highlighted the significance of the “17 Faces of Action” photo exhibition, which took place at the Heydar Aliyev Center two years ago, initiated by her with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Swiss Association of Women and Empowerment.
