UN representative describes Azerbaijan as exemplary country in tackling refugee, IDP problems

UN Assistant High Commissioner for Refugees Ruven Menikdiwela, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan to attend the 11th Global Baku Forum, has described Azerbaijan as one of the role model countries in tackling the problem of refugees and IDPs.

At a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Menikdiwela affirmed UN’s readiness to support the return of IDPs in the current post-conflict period, per Report.
