UN resident coordinator in Azerbaijan meets with deputy foreign minister
Igor Garafulic, the newly appointed Acting UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, held a courtesy meeting with Yalchin Rafiyev, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to a statement shared on X by the UN in Azerbaijan, the meeting was held in Garafulic's first days as the resident coordinator at the UN in Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.

The organisation then noted that the UN team is ready to provide joint support as the country prepares for key upcoming events, including the 13th World Urban Forum and World Environment Day 2026.
