UN Resident Coordinator lauds Azerbaijan's ECOSOC election triumph

Vladanka Andreeva, the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, extended congratulations to the country for its successful election as a member of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). 

"Congratulations to the Republic of Azerbaijan on being elected to the UN Economic and Social Council for the third time! Wishing you great success in your upcoming term!" she expressed in a post on X platform, Caliber.Az reports.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan has once again been elected as a member of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) during the recent elections held at the UN General Assembly. With 148 votes in favour, Azerbaijan's position was affirmed.
