US embassy condoles the loss of Azerbaijani servicemen in Lachin

The US embassy in Azerbaijan has extended its deepest condolences following the tragic death of four Azerbaijani servicemen in Lachin.

“The US embassy expresses its sincerest condolences to the relatives, friends, and fellow servicemen who mourn the tragic loss this week of four Azerbaijani servicemen who were off-duty,” stated the embassy on its social network on X, as reported by Caliber.Az.

The incident occurred on July 30, when the servicemen tragically lost their lives, reportedly due to poisoning while bathing in a thermal spring containing hydrogen sulfide.
