“Happy U.S. Independence Day from Azerbaijan! We were deeply moved to see the Heydar Aliyev Centre illuminated in red, white, and blue — the colours of the American flag — in honour of the 250th anniversary of the United States. This symbolic gesture served as a wonderful reminder of more than thirty years of friendship between the United States and Azerbaijan, as well as the significant progress our countries have achieved together since August 8 (2025 — ed.),” the embassy said.
