US Embassy highlights efforts to boost bilateral relations with Azerbaijan
The United States is actively working to elevate its bilateral relationship with Azerbaijan, enhancing both political and economic cooperation, Charge d’affaires at the US Embassy in Baku Amy Carlon told reporters.
Carlon said the embassy team has been focused on deepening ties and reinforcing strategic collaboration following the historic Washington summit on August 8 last year, organized at the initiative of US President Donald Trump, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
“This month, we marked an important milestone—the first visit by a US vice president to Azerbaijan in nearly 20 years. During the visit, Charter on Strategic Partnership was signed, aimed at boosting regional connectivity, bilateral trade and investment, and cooperation in defence and security,” Carlon said.
She noted that alongside Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit, a large delegation from the US Chamber of Commerce traveled to Azerbaijan. “Initially, participation was planned for 10 companies, but ultimately 30 companies and 60 delegates attended. This was a major success,” Carlon added.
