US official: Direct dialogue plays key role in reaching Baku-Yerevan peace deal

“Nevertheless, we are constantly working with Armenia and Azerbaijan to facilitate these negotiations. We think that direct dialogue plays a key role in achieving a final peace agreement. We are encouraged by recent progress and want to maintain this momentum,” the message says.
However, the details of the discussions were not disclosed as the meetings were held behind closed doors.
