US think tank updated on Azerbaijan’s mine problem, Karabakh reconstruction PHOTO
Azerbaijani ambassador to the United States Khazar Ibrahim spoke at an event, organized at the initiative of the Caspian Policy Center, a leading American think tank engaged in studying the Caspian region.
At the event, the diplomat informed the participants in detail about innovations and developments in Azerbaijan and the Caspian region, Report says.
The ambassador informed the participants in the discussions on peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the mine problem in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan, and the destruction of mosques in Karabakh.
The ambassador also talked about the reconstruction works in the Karabakh region under the leadership and based on the approval by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, activities towards the return of former IDPs to their native lands, creation of economic and green zones in Karabakh.
At the end of the event, Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim answered participants' questions.
